In addition, the 5th meeting of the Kazakhstan–Türkiye High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council will be held in a co-chair format. The targeted trade volume of USD 15 billion by the end of 2025 stands out as a concrete indicator of the economic cooperation envisioned between Tokayev and Erdoğan. According to first-quarter figures, Türkiye accounts for 5.1% of Kazakh exports, while Kazakhstan’s share in Turkish imports stands at 2.7%; the current bilateral trade volume is around USD 29.3 billion. This visit holds the potential to usher in a new era in bilateral economic relations.
